Job Description

As a Careworker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting clients with mobility, including assistance with walking, transfers, and the use of mobility aids.​WorkAbroad
  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Preparing meals and providing assistance with feeding when necessary.​
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.​
  • Monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes to medical professionals or family members.​
  • Administering prescribed medications under supervision, if permitted.​
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.​
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities.​
  • Following individualized care plans to ensure the well-being of clients.​

Qualifications

  • Experience: No prior work experience is required; both experienced and inexperienced applicants are welcome to apply.​
  • Education: At least a high school graduate.​
  • Language Proficiency: Willingness to study Nihongo and pass JLPT N4/NAT 4Q or J-TEST.​
  • Certifications: Possession of a Caregiving NCII certification is an advantage.​
  • Health Requirements: Physically and mentally fit to work.​
  • Other Requirements: Must have no tattoos, as per employer’s requirement.​
